Straight away, even before reading the First Impression, I was drawn to the cover. It's absolutely gorgeous and enthralling, paralleling the descriptive writing of the book. Within the first few paragraphs, I was hooked into the story. Valora's determination comes across so clearly and as I continued to read, I found myself longing to know more of her story. I'm excited to read more and find the answers to some of my burning questions. As a stowaway on the Titanic, will she continue to keep up the ruse of pretending to be her mistress? What is in store for her in reuniting with her brother? And, finally, what is in store for Valora and Jamie when the Titanic meets it's fate?
