I am so impressed! I had no idea there were non-white passengers aboard The Titanic, and to have a story featuring people of color based off some truth is amazing!
I love that the book opens with a list of characters and crew. It helps familiarize the reader. The opening chapter is gripping and enthralling. I could feel Val's heartbreak when they wouldn't let her on the boat!
