If you are a lover of historical fiction, then immediately put this book on your TBR list. This story follows two British-Chinese twins, Valora and Jamie Luck (hence the name in the title). Valora smuggles herself onto the ship before it sets sail to America in hopes of locating her brother. Later on, we learn that both twins are acrobats trying to make it big in America. I thought this was very well-written, descriptive, and fast-paced. This wasn't your typical read about the Titanic -- I loved that it tied in newer cultures than what we're used to reading about when it comes to the Titanic.
