At first, I wasn't sure I would be able to get into this; I was confused as to why nobody tried hard enough to get in and out of the apartment especially the woman trying to get into her own apartment. You bet your butt I'd be on the phone with the police. I didn't understand why everyone was just lying down and taking it. That aside, it was an enjoyable Covid romcom.
The ending was bittersweet because, as we all know, this pandemic didn't end in a week or even a month. We're still in this, and maaaaybe we'll get a sequel???
I may be in the minority, but I love pandemic books, especially those about Covid and they don't bother me much. I think there is a ton of material to work with, especially with romance books and I hope to see more in the future!
