This is a interesting look that is not likely to have been written a decade or even a few years ago. It looks at romance and the challenges relationships face, especially new relationships, during lockdown and the pandemic. This book has fun romantic comedy vibes with an oddball set up forcing people together.

The pandemic impacted our lives greatly and this book addresses that a fun and engaging way that readers, especially people like me, will enjoy.

The main character is likable and flawed as is common in romantic commodities. She is likable and relatable without being off-putting. She is someone you would want to have as a friend.

The cover gives the reader a good idea of what to expect.

I did struggle with the love interest. He was not appealing to me as a romantic interest. But, as they say, to each their own.

Overall this is fun and fresh read.
