This was a cute read. I thought the characters were well fleshed out, although I didn’t always understand their motivations. Definitely an interesting take on the lockdown situation and puts several couples in awkward situations as well as a group of friends. I liked Ethan and Charlotte and the bridzilla crew. They were the most interesting storylines that I couldn’t wait to come back to. It made me think about how each person had a different experience as things went into lockdown. I really liked the ending and how it shows that even in trying times there are still bright spots. I would be interested in visiting each of the couples a year later to see how things turned out. Maybe like a summary or a snapshot of each of their lives. Something like that. Overall, a sweet read that I would recommend others (that don’t mind pandemic plots) check out.
