I don't mind books set during the pandemic. They can be relatable, and if they can make me laugh, they can even be therapeutic. This seemed like it might be that kind of book. Unfortunately, I couldn't stand the first character that was introduced. Imogen did not seem like a character I could root for or would want to spend time reading about. It seems there are multiple stories/couples featured in this book. Only two made it to this sample, and the first really turned me off.
