This is a cute, rom-com, wrapped up in a Covid nightmare. First of all, the book is coming out too late, as we now have the vaccine - it would have been fun if published early during the pandemic - people may have enjoyed the premise, and understood as a lot of us were mainly staying put at home. Secondly, this is false imprisonment, and too convenient. Third - a night of sex does not leave people happy to be together. I wouldn't think a guy would open his apartment to a one-night stand. If it were me, I'd be on the phone to my lawyers. No, it is too contrived. I think I'd give this one a pass.
