This book was such a fun read! To begin with the writing style as a whole was written in a magical and almost poetic prose or better known as "purple prose" type of way. The pacing at the beginning was somewhat slow, but that is common is almost all books now a days. The pacing however did pick up and stayed at a consistent rate for the rest of the book. The book as a whole was a lengthy read which took me a couple of days to get through but despite that I had fun reading the entire time.
The two main themes of this story are "loss" and "love", which were perfect and honestly the best way to encapsulate their read. The book didn't go into these themes lightly but to be honest it dealt with them in the best way that it could. For me personally the one aspect I didn't care about this book going into was faith, and that is why there was one less star, but that is due to my own personal taste.
