The first impression reads more like YA, however the general description lumps it into the General Fiction category, which looks to be a first for this novel. I read the first impression hoping for General Fiction, but the quick chapters and language leads me to think this will appeal to a younger audience. Nevertheless, I was drawn in by the characters and plot line and would like to read more.
