This book had a lot of things going for it. The cover was beautiful. The synopsis was intriguing. I was prepared for gorgeous prose and a story that I would think about long after I closed the cover. I am said to say that I was so bored while reading the excerpt. The prose didn't hook me and there wasn't the creepy mood that was in the synopsis.
