This book starts out with an adult seeing their deceased parent. There is sadness with a touch of reluctant acceptance. When seeing a deceased loved one, it is as if you think they should have a different appearance, as the character describes. You expect a light to be gone, in this case. You expect the memories to be different from the ones that flood your mind, as this character has when the book moves on to the next chapter. The writing is smooth and flows very well. This appears to be a piece of art that was done with such patience and passion by the author, and deserves to be shared with the world if they will only pick it up and see it for themselves.
