This is a continuation of a story of two individuals and I felt like I should have read the first two books to gather more about their relationship. The book is set in Kenya at the time of the Mau Mau uprising. Kenyatta is described as part of the uprising and details about the corruption, yet their is question if his conviction was right and what would have happened if he had risen to leadership. There is social and political strive and a family questions what is right and struggles with their decisions. This is an action packed thriller. Involving family and danger along the storyline. It is well written and keeps you glued in the storyline. One of the things I liked is that the storyline builds and the description of the location is well defined because it feels like you can imagine the landscape of Africa. The storyline is easy to follow.
