The cover definitely portrays an action-adventure more than historical fiction and may that is deliberate since the synopsis seems to lean more towards action-thriller. And maybe for those who love historical fiction, they will enjoy it. But I was completely turned off by the opening pages. Far too violent and graphic for my taste. Also this seems to be a continuation of another book(s). So not knowing the characters or the back story, I felt I was missing something. Either way, not my genre and I would not pick this book up. But for the right audience, maybe they will enjoy it.
