This 'war thriller' is definitely not for me, as the genre is one of the farthest from something that would interest me. Moreover, I have ZERO interest in an old white man who writes African-set novels...from what I've read he's tried to get 'better' at not being racist, which I suppose is something, but...why do we need MORE books by old white folks about non-white folks?? WHY
