I have not read anything by Wilbur Smith but often see his name and books listed as recommended reading. While this sounds like a fast-paced, intense story I am not sure it's my type of story. I do think if anyone is interested in wars and history, that reader would enjoy this book. It sounds like it should be made into an adventure movie as well.
