Interesting insight into the broader star wars universe
As someone who has only engaged with the major Star Wars movies/shows and has not really explored the broader Star Wars expanded universe, this book seemed like the perfect way to dip my toes into the written Star Wars lore. Lando is a gem of a character and he has been played by actors who bring so much life and personality to the character, I was very excited to see how this would translate to a stagnant form.
I was not disappointed! This book brings the reader into the beloved world of a galaxy far far away and will only make you love the main movies more! After reading this book, I was inspired to look into additional books that tell the tales of various Star Wars characters (especially those that are not main characters in the main franchise and do not detailed back stories or fleshed out origin stories) and I will certainly be reading many more in the future as well.
