Oh, how I loved this book! This book comes up frequently as a recommendation in Facebook groups and Instagram and I kept thinking I should read it. To be honest, I wasn't sure I would love it when I read the synopsis. I could not put it down. This is such a beautiful love story about people accepting and loving one another for their true selves. I had heard it was steamy and I was on board because I loved steamy romances. This is STEAMY! So, be prepared for that. I absolutely adored Stella and Michael's story and will be buying the next book, The Bride Test, ASAP.
Stella has Asperger's and I love how the author captured that element of her without making her seem like a stereotype. She has her likes and dislikes and certain situations make her uncomfortable but there is so much more to her.
Michael is kind and sensitive and accepts Stella for exactly who she is. He doesn't wan to change her or make her fit a mold. He falls in love because of these characteristics as they are what make her herself. He is dealing with his own issues from his past and his current life situations and struggles with the idea that he isn't good enough for her.
Overall, this is such a beautiful, well written book about love, acceptance and fully supporting someone you love for exactly who they are.
