Steamy

If you had me describe this book in just one word by a quick look at the cover or read through of the synopsis, then "steamy" may have been at the bottom of the list. But, this book is just that!! You immediately find yourself wanting both Michael and Stella to find their happily ever after and wanting it to be together. While it's a non-conventional story, Helen Hoang gives you characters that you want to make your best friends - it's the people that you want to fight for day after day. Hoang expertly intertwines Michael and Stella's relationship with each of their family dynamics and pushes societal norms while doing so. She gives us a main character in Stella that we just want to reach out and hug and then scream "you go girl!" Stella is the friend that you didn't know you needed.

Now I cannot wait to get my hands on Hoang's other novels and see where these stories take me.
