Really enjoyed the audiobook! This is a story of an inexperienced career driven woman who gets involved with a financially desperate escort.
The characters really came to life and I especially loved how the author was able to capture adult autism in a new light. Sometimes it felt like the sex scenes were a bit much/too many of them, but that is more of a personal preference.
The narrator overall was very good and had a “gossip girl” feel to her. I would have enjoyed a male reader for the Michael chapters!
I really enjoyed the character development of the main character Stella. She starts out very timid and unsure of herself and what she wants and really grows into a confident woman.
Alternatively, the main male character Michael was a bit less relatable. I appreciated the backstory and the love and appreciation for his family was heartwarming but I had a hard time fully connecting.
Overall it was an excellent story and I cannot wait to read the next book!
