The Kiss Quotient is a romance novel with a little edge of humor. The story surrounds Stella Lane, a math expert with Asperger's whose success with regards to her career is not matched by her personal life. When Stella decides that she needs to practice with a man, in order to know how to have a normal love life, she hires an escort with the necessary experience. Michael Phan is not looking for any entanglements, so the arrangement with Stella suits his needs as well. Business arrangements of this manner tend to get a little messy, so will Stella and Michael be able to remain professional?

Given the subject matter of the book, it is not surprising that much of the content is sexual in nature. I really liked Stella's voice and would have liked more of her humor to come through. The author spent too much time on the physical part of the relationship and missed out on the opportunity to have her characters deliver more of that witty banter. A quick read, The Kiss Quotient is one that readers of romance novels may find to their liking.
