This modern day story presents two main characters who break many societal norms. The female main character was neurodivergent, a group of individuals not typically portrayed by main characters or highlighted in romance. The male main character was a seamstress and escort, an uncommon character as well. These two not only brought romance to life throughout their journey, but also represented how unique individuals are and that everyone has a chance to demonstrate main character energy.
I enjoyed the easy and quick writing style, that lead me to fully understand each character and their motivations. The plot, while similar to many currently popular novels was very unique in the way it presented each main character which set it apart from other novels our there. With the cute cartoon cover I was a bit surprised with how detailed some of the intimate scenes were but felt they were tasteful and just a learning curve with a new author.
