I was intrigued by this book because of how popular it seems to be but I had not bought it yet, simply because my TBR is quite long at the moment. However, I did get a preview of the book (the first 18 pages) and I can now understand the intrigue.

Romance books are usually pretty predictable and have similar ideas that appear throughout the genre. However, this one threw me for a loop right away when it mentioned that the main character, Stella, has Asperger's. I am a special education teacher and always find it interesting to be able to empathize with the viewpoints of people with different "abilities". Obviously, recently Asperger's has been given the more developed understanding that people with this "disability" usually are not truly disabled at all. Just affected by things (usually sensory) more than others are, and these people are usually quite bright. So far, 18 pages in, Stella has proven both of these things with her inner monologue. I appreciate the thought and consideration the author needed in order to be able to create this character and I am truly intrigued. I have already ordered the book so I can finish it!
