I wanted to read this book after reading a review on Instagram and was excited to have found it at a local shop. This book did not disappoint.
The main character is a high functioning autistic who tries to hide this in everyday life. She ends up hiring an "escort" to teach her "skills" needed to have a normal relationship as she blames her past failures in love on herself and how she sort of shuts down in intimate situations. What ensues is a bit of a reverse play on the movie "Pretty Woman" where it's the female who hires the "escort".
The main character is incredibly intelligent and awkward and easy to like. The book is fun and and takes an imaginative twist on an old story. I highly recommend this book and would definitely pick up another by this author.
