I loved this book for so many reasons. It's a stellar addition to #ownvoices with both an autistic and a mixed-race lead. I am fascinated by books that give me a window into the experiences and worlds of people who are not like me. I also appreciate books that are mirrors for people who aren't often represented in books. The Kiss Quotient managed to be both a window and a mirror while at the same time providing a page-turning story. I simply couldn't put it down. It also has a feminist bent flipping the Pretty Woman storyline. Stella is a real brainiac, a successful, accomplished econometrician while Michael is a fashion designer. As if the book couldn't get any better, it's heartwarming, funny and steamy with endearing characters. The Kiss Quotient has all the elements for a great read. If you haven't already, go ahead and read it. You won't be sorry!
