This isn’t your typical cutesy romance. There are some of the typical tropes found in the novel, but their isn’t a book like this out there as far as characters and storyline.
Stella is such a unique character and loveable person. I loved getting to read from the perspective a someone with Asperger’s; I got to see the world from a different perspective which is always good. It was also nice reading about a character that knew what their limitations were but accepted them and tried to overcome them.
Michael is a breath of fresh air as well. He isn’t your typical alpha male type. He is understanding and patient. It doesn’t hurt that he is absolute eye-candy either.
I couldn’t put this book down! And I was so excited for the characters’ HEA ending. I hope to get to read more about them in the future.
Helen Hoang is a great writer! I would definitely recommend this book as well one of her other novels, The Bride Test.
