Michael is my mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. I can try other flavors but that will always be my favorite

You guys, I LOVED this book. I absolutely devoured it and I can't even begin to tell you how great of a book this is. I should note this is NOT a YA book as it has very graphic sex scenes but let me tell you it was one of the best written books I've read in a long time.

Stella is a woman who is very focused on her career. She's incredibly smart and talented and doesn't really know how beautiful she is as as human. She has trouble with social situations and gets overwhelmed easily. There's an explanation for this: she has autism. She's had a few romantic encounters but with guys who were jerks so she is set and determined to learn how to have good sex. She hires an escort service to help her with this, little does she know she may end up with real feelings.

Michael is a guy who aspires to be a designer but his Dad left his family to be with someone else and left them in debt. His mom is sick and he comes home from NY to help run their dry cleaning business. In order to pay for his mom's bills, Michael does escorting every Friday night. One night he meets Stella and he promises himself he will never fall for a client or it's over.

This book was a breath of fresh air when it came to sex and relationships. All the intimacy was 100% consensual and felt so real. I could literally feel the love between these two fly off the pages. Michael is incredibly respectful of Stella and doesn't look at her as a lost case (because of her autism) but rather see's the beauty in her and they fall hard...fast.

I also learned a lot about autism in this book. I have people in my life who may be part of the spectrum but this was such a beautiful story about how no matter what hurdles you may be dealt with, there will always be someone to show you love and see the beauty in you.

Something else to note is that the author, Helen Hoang based some of this book off her own experience with being on the autism spectrum. I can't say it enough that this is a wonderfully written story and I hope there's a #2 because I would love to continue Stella and Michael's journey!

Thank you to BookishFirst and Berkley Pub for sending me an ARC of this book. This comes out June 5th and everyone has to pick this up!
