How often do we get H-O-T steamy bedroom scenes in the very same book that is fiercely feminist and so tenderly describes the experiences of a woman with high functioning autism? Well, NEVER until now! I am an avid romance reader, but my standards for feminism and originality are getting higher and higher the more I read. THE KISS QUOTIENT checks off all of my "must-have" boxes, and the author's note describing her own experiences as a woman with high-functioning autism absolutely sealed the 5th star for me. I almost cheered out loud at both the book's ending AND Hoang's heartfelt personal story. Required reading for romance fans, and a recommended "stretch" read for readers who don't usually pick up this genre ~ Stella will win your heart and open your mind, I promise!
