This is an unusual start to a modern romance. Initially we are introduced to Stella and learn she has Asperger’s. Her parents are pressuring her to get out there and date so she can get married and give them grand babies. We also get a glimpse of her work life and interactions with a coworker. She loves her work as long as it does not involve interacting with people, she turns down a promotion because she would rather work with data than have coworkers under her direction.

After we get a view of her social struggles and the uncomfortable way Stella feels around others, a coworker tells he all she needs is practice to make sex more enjoyable. If sex is more enjoyable maybe she could date someone which would then lead to marriage and grandbabies for her parents. That is when she calls an escort service and we meet Michael. Their first interaction left me wanting to know what happens next.

I liked both Stella and Michael and the way the author got us involved with their motivations. I look forward to reading this book and see how the story unfolds.
