I always appreciate when a book has a more diverse cast of characters. In this romance novel, Stella is a young woman with autism. She is unique, lovable, and believable.
I also really enjoyed Michael's family and getting to know his culture.
I didn't like how pushy her parents were about dating, and how much she seemed to feel like she *had* to go out and find a man more than she actually truly *wanted* to. Like, she was clearly miserable in the beginning. Why didn't anyone, anyone at all, say to her just once, "It's okay if you don't want to date"?
Otherwise, this didn't transcend any of the romance tropes that make me roll my eyes. I would definitely recommend for romance fans in general, though. It's good. I think I was just hoping for something more from the plot itself.
