The protagonist of this novel, Stella, is extremely relatable in that she doesn't have that much experience in the dating world, and she possesses strengths in certain areas (math!) and weaknesses in others (romance). I really like how unique and original this story is - it's not every day that you read about a character who has Asperger's Syndrome. Stella is thirty, and her mom has been putting a lot of pressure on her to get married and start a family. In order to get practice in the romance department, she turns to a professional, escort Michael Phan. The story was light but in a good way. It was enjoyable to read, well written, and refreshingly different than the average rom-com novel. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book. It reminded of the movie Pretty Woman, but the genders are swapped. I can't wait to read more from this author.
