A unique character who brings something new to the romance genre
Stella is an expert in her field of econometrics but she is a bit clueless when it comes to romance. As someone with autism, she feels awkward in most social settings and has had poor experiences when it comes to her love life. So she makes the obviously logical decision to hire a male escort to give her some sex lessons. Despite his better judgement, Michael agrees to help Stella and soon the unlikely pair develop a connection. Will their insane chemistry lead to something more meaningful?
I have to hand it to the author, she managed to bring something new and different to the romance genre. The author was diagnosed with autism as an adult which no doubt helped in letting Stella's unique perspective shine throughout the book. The whole hiring an escort for sex tips sounds really weird but for whatever reason it worked in this book. This is definitely an adult romance as it does go into graphic details but in no way is it some trashy romance novel. I'd definitely recommend this book if you like romance books that have a little substance to go along with the spice!
