A Sweet Story
I loved this book. I thought the characters were perfectly flawed and many of the challenges they faced in the story had realistic tendencies that made it seem as though they were friends in my world. I loved how Stella and Michael learned to navigate their relationship and each other, and I was pleasantly surprised to be satisfied with the ending (aside from the fact that this is the end of their story. I wouldn’t be upset with a sequel with the same characters!)
This was the first book I read by Helen Hoang, but definitely won’t be (and wasn’t) my last. After I finished the Kiss Quotient, I immediately started The Bride Test. These sweet and heartwarming stories and quirky, lovable characters are just the kind of thing I need to make my gloomy days seem brighter, and they will also be books that I read more than once.
Give this one a shot and be prepared to be swept off your feet!
