The Kiss Quotient was the first true romance novel I ever read and it definitely turned me into a forever fan of the genre! It's a steamy romance with Own Voices autism rep. The romance follows Stella, an autistic mathematician, and Michael, a male escort. Think gender-swapped "Pretty Woman," but BETTER.

This romance is super steamy but also super sweet! I loved that it involves consent and talking about boundaries in intimate settings. It's also very much about familial expectations; Michael has a lot of worries about letting his family down, and Stella often feels like she's disappointing her parents.

I also loved that this novel features a strong, independent, wealthy, and successful woman. In terms of representation, both characters are Asian American and Stella is autistic. The author is also Asian American and autistic.

I loved this novel and highly recommend it to both new romance readers and seasoned fans of the genre alike.
