A romance must-read for AAPI month (and beyond)!
This is such a cute romance that essentially has a similar premise to Pretty Woman, but in reverse--Stella Lane hires Michael Phan, an escort, to help her "practice" all the things involved with being in a relationship (kissing, foreplay and more). I love both Stella and Michael as characters and they both feel so real. I also appreciate the representation of AAPI voices and of those on the spectrum in this book.
I thought this was really well done and having also read the other two books in this series - The Bride Test and The Heart Principle - I have to say The Kiss Quotient is still my favorite! Definitely worth the read, as are The Bride Test and The Heart Principle, which follow the stories of different characters that are first introduced in The Kiss Quotient.
I honestly will read anything Helen Hoang writes and am excited to see what she comes out with next!
