When I first started this book, I was really confused. I'll admit for the 1st 100 pages I was really wishing there was a map and some sort of legend for the people/characters/abilities. So many times I wanted to put it down, i knew that if I stuck with it I would probably be very glad I did. And let me tell you.. I was ecstatic that I stick with his book!! I read it in 2 days, which is a record for me. It became intense, action packed and attention-getting, I spent half of it reading & world building and the other half trying to secretly piece together all the information that I was gathering. I'm normally very good at figuring stuff out underlying plots and will admit that I was flabbergasted on what the outcome of this book was going to be. I'm anxiously awaiting the next book and cannot immagine what adventure it will entail!
