This is a fantasy novel that grips your attention right from the beginning.

I was immediately drawn into the world of Michael Kingman, a high noble whose family has fallen in disgrace. He can’t accept that his family legacy has been ruined by claims that his father killed the child prince of the royal family he swore to protect. He is constantly scheming for ways to prove his father’s innocence, making deals with less than stellar characters along the way. Michael seems to have very bad luck as he is always finding himself in a bad situation despite his best intentions. It’s almost comical how he is always finding himself in a jam! His main goal in life is to restore his family legacy and he will not stop until he achieves it.
This is the perfect novel to read if you like the fantasy genre, action and adventure or a good read to transport you out of your every day life for a while! It is very well written and I was impressed by the imagination and detail throughout.
