The Kingdom of Liars by Nick Martell is an excellent addition to the fantasy, with wonderful world building, intriguing characters, and an easy to follow plot with plenty twists to keep you reading. Though the strongest part of Martell's series is the magic system. Where each use costs a memory.
I would highly recommend this series to anyone just getting into fantasy as it isn't too hardcore on the fantastical world building. Though do be warned you'll probably want book 2 sitting in within reach.
