This was such a fun fantasy world to delve into! I always love books with magic in them and this one has plenty of that with the Fabricators. Magic comes at a cost but I like reading about it and how maybe someone had been powerful enough to shatter the moon. Sadly, that was not actually addressed in this book but I would love to hear more about it later on in the series.
There were lots of interesting characters in this story, not the least of which was Michael Kingman who tries to get the truth about his father, all while trying to protect his friends and family too from the mess that has become of the Hollows ever since the prince was killed presumably by Michael's father. I would like to learn more about Domet and Dark, both intriguing and mysterious characters.
This book may have just come out, but I can't wait for the next one already!
