I think it is just personal opinion and preference, but this book was just lacking something for me. I had seen a lot of other reviews for this book and people really loving it so I was really hoping that I took would really love it and fall in love with the story. I liked the way it was written and I liked the overall writing, but it just didn't get a full 5-stars for me. The characters were fun but the plot just did not fully connect or finish the story like I had hoped for; for me, plot holes and missing points really diminish the quality of a book. I did enjoy the cover art; it really pulled me in and made me want to read this book. Surely, other people did love it and I am very thankful to have read it. Trust me, I really wanted to love this one because the premise sounds great! As a fantasy book I really wanted it to transport me but just didn't quite get there for me.
