I'm a sucker for anything involving the moon, even a broken one. This world seems very unique, and I can't wait to learn more about it! I've never read a story involving a broken moon, and can't wait to see the kind of effects that has on the world.
There was a lot of different terms and history in this first little bit of the book, and it was quite difficult to keep track of. It seems as though this was done intentionally, and that the full story would become clearer as it continued. I am hopeful that that is the case.
The world seems a little bit too dark and gritty for me, but the concept of the broken moon just might convince to me to purchase the book. Even if it is just to display that incredible cover art!
