The story about magic having cost your memorie is crazy to me and amazing at the same time it seems like a really cool concept. Seeing Michael be able to see a bit of his past before and then try to leave the world he lives now and not be am outcast to try and take back his old life hits something in me emotionally. And how he has to do this task carfully because then he might lose his life keeps you on the edge of your seat because you never know who will find out and what might happen if they do find out. I wonder if he will take his sister with him to try and get his old life back or does he think the risk isn't worth taking I am excited to read the rest of this book and wonder if there will be more after.
