This book was so immersive, I was pulled in on page 1, where we are dropped right into the middle of the trial of Michael Kingman, king killer. I love the fabricator abilities and the whole setting. Michael's character was so morally grey, but so well developed that we knew his heart was in the right place. I loved the hard magic, and the consequences for using your abilities. Every character in this book felt so real and so deep this is for sure a new favorite.
