Uneven, but intriguing
I didn't like the prologue at all (the writing style was jumpy and kind of bad at what it was trying to accomplish), but fortunately for me the first 'real' chapter was a big improvement! The world-building and the roguish escapades of the main character showed promise, and intrigued me. I would like to see what happens next -- maybe in the end, some sense will even be made of that god-awfully written prologue.
