The death of a king, a wrongful accusation, magic around every corner - I'm intrigued. I was surprised that I enjoyed this First Look as much as I did as I typically have a harder time connecting with male characters. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy not only the plot line and the decision to have the story take place through the eyes of a male character, Michael Kingman, but also the writing style. I'm definitely interested enough to read more.
