This book is like Six of Crows meets the Time Machine. Petty criminals looking for a way to make things better, exposed the government, help themselves, etc. Time travel sounds awesome and wonderful along with a magical element but you do pay the price! Overall, if the writing stays strong this has the potential to be a great book.
