I like the short and sweet excerpts the best. I always figure if I can get hooked in a couple dozen pages than it's going to be a promising read and Kingdom of Liars hooked me. I love a good family story featuring con artists, so I'm really interested in digging in a little deeper into Michael's family and their history with the Hollow. It seems as though they play a pivitol part in the inner workings of the Hollow. Whether or not that's bragging has yet to be seen. I also enjoyed how easy it was to get caught up in Michael's "voice" as it seems the book will be told from his point of view. Overall, loving everything about this book so far. There's still much we don't know about the society and magic, but it didn't hinder being able to understand and enjoy this snippet.
