Hmmm... I'm at a loss. Fantasy isn't a preferred genre. I actually never read it. I go for realistic storylines. But the premise, and the storyline intrigued me.
Surprisingly, the prologue drew me in, but the main character's narration soon grated on my nerves. I didn't connect with him.
I suppose if you're a fan of fantasy fiction, you might like this, but for me I'm only a fan of the cover art.
