Wow, is this publisher knocking out some great ones this year, or what?!
First, I want to say that the narrator has excellent flow to the point that you’ve read pages before you realize you have skidded ahead so far. It is truly a remarkable thing, as it feels as easy as if you were reading it from your own head. I sat here on this decrepit Ashley’s chair a hot minute wondering what the hell I could do to get me out of this trouble!
The description of characters are also well written. There is not too much information and not too little. You can clearly see the people in your head, but there isn’t too much fancy ornamentation/ filigree to way down the narrative.
I want to keep reading due to the story beginning at the ending. Our main at point B seems vastly different than at point A and I am dying to know the content in between. How did he become who he is now?
