Based on a reading of the prologue and the first chapter, my first impression is that this book seems to be an intriguing debut. The prologue is revealed to be a flash-forward in the first chapter and therefore, I can only assume that the bulk of the novel must reveal how Michael got that moment in the prologue. I, for one, am curious as to why he would follow in his father's footsteps and commit treason.
